E2 Innovations LLC is committed to making our virtual laboratories usable by everyone, including students who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or alternative input devices. We believe access to learning resources should not depend on a student's abilities or the tools they use.
We design our labs to follow widely recognised accessibility guidance, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and we continue to improve our materials over time.
If a lab is not accessible, please check for its accessible version (we are in the process of developing accessible versions for each lab).
If an accessible version is not yet available, please email us and we will do our best to produce an accessible version.
Across our virtual labs we work toward:
Some interactive simulations and visual elements are inherently difficult to convey fully through assistive technology. In those cases we aim to provide an equivalent accessible description or document so that no student is left without the content.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task. As we build new labs and revise existing ones, we continue to expand the number of labs that have a fully accessible version. We welcome feedback that helps us improve.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier in any lab, need an accessible version of a specific lab, or have suggestions for how we can improve, please contact us. Tell us the name of the lab and the kind of access you need, and we will respond and provide an accessible document or alternative.
Email is the fastest way to reach us — typically within one business day.
